Position Description: Assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor in all commercial aspects related to any given project.
Qualifications And Experience:
- Prepare schedules and reports on supply and sub-contract cost parameters for use in estimating.
- Provide project management with details and reports on commercial matters affecting projects by the Senior Quantity Surveyor.
- Attend to the preparation and maintenance of all Q.S files as instructed by the Senior Quantity Surveyor.
- Remeasure projects either through physical means or by drawing take-offs.
- Compile and maintain records and submissions on variations, daywork and claims for incorporation into interim and final accounts
- Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor in the preparation and submission of interim valuations, applications and invoices.
- Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor in the compilation and submission of final accounts.
- Under the supervision of the Senior Quantity Surveyor, take responsibility for the control of supply and sub-contract orders including measurement, variations, dayworks, payments and final accounts.
- Prepare cost and value reports for use by the Senior Quantity Surveyor in monthly profit and loss accounting.
- Assist in the forecast process on cost, value and cash in accordance with divisional policy.
- Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor in general and business matters where required.
Responsibilities to include:
Position: Full Time with an immediate start
Hours of work: Mon- Thursday 9.00am -17.00pm, Friday 8.00am – 2.00pm
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Holidays: Full time – 25 days per year (Holiday year Jan – Dec) + 8 Bank holidays, Pro rata for part time.
