Safedeck is a closed flooring system consisting of Safegrid open bar grating with a durbar plate welded to the top surface by means of a series of short weld runs applied in a specific pattern. Together, a much improved load carrying capability is provided compared to either a Safegrid floor or Durbar floor supplied individually without the assistance of the other.
As standard, Safedeck has a Safegrid ’41/100 Grating’ sub-structure and a 3mm o/p durbar plate welded to the top surface. Other options are available on request, to suit your project specific application.

There are several methods for fixing Safedeck but the most common types are shown here.
Due to the nature of this product, it is possible for the grating to distort slightly during the galvanising process. It is recommended that panels are joined together and pulled flat, in order to alleviate the potential for a trip hazard.
