GRP Gates & Ladders

GRP Gates and Ladders are constructed from pultruded GRP box section and are up to 75% lighter than steel, with a strong and light weight solution where safety and general access is required.

GRP Ladders are fabricated to customer requirements offering a permanent solution to access for working at heights, in chambers, trenches and are a direct replacement to metal ladders.

GRP ladders are available with safety cages and can be fabricated at any height.

GRP Gates can be retro fitted, free standing or as part of a handrail project for stairs, walkways, ramps and safety barriers and are fitted with self-closing spring loaded hinges.

Gates and ladders are fabricated from Isophthalic Polyester, they are easy to install, low maintenance, non-conductive, corrosion resistant and fire retardant.

All our gates and ladders are compliant to National and internationally recognised standards.

Building Information Modelling (BIM)

Following the government mandate on BIM level 2 requirements throughout the supply chain for all government funded projects, Lionweld Kennedy have built on our existing processes to become fully BIM level 2 compliant. Our internal processes are aligned with the requirements of PAS1192-2:2013 to ensure full BIM compliance and ensure we are prepared for fully collaborative working practices in line with specific client requirements. Using our primary BIM authoring software Tekla Structures, which is aligned to our in house manufacturing processes we have developed our comprehensive BIM object library available for download.
