Strong, lightweight flooring for all kinds of walkway.

GRP Flowgrate

Moulded GRP grating panels with a square mesh panel, anti-slip surface and compliant to 35mm ball proofing.

As a pioneer of GRP products since the 1980s, Lionweld Kennedy has decades of experience providing engineered composite solutions to a wide range of applications.

Flowgrate GRP floor grating has been designed to provide a high-strength, lightweight and durable solution for walkways, platforms, risers, trenches and mezzanine decks, that is built and made to last.

The mesh size allows effective drainage and debris fall prevention when used as flooring, ensuring safety and a solid base for workers.

Popular uses for GRP Flowgrate

GRP Flowgrate is extensively utilised in the rail, power and marine industry sectors in order to provide a gripped and reliable surface to work on, eliminating the worry of slip-related injuries. The panel can be utilised as a debris litter screen as well as machine guarding when used vertically.

The Isophthalic Polyester Grating panels are suitable for general use where factors such as high-strength, non-conductive, lightweight and corrosion resistant applications are required.

Flowgrate GRP gratings are up to 50% lighter than steel gratings and are finished with a hard-wearing anti-slip gritted surface – compliant to National and Internationally recognised standards to ensure maximum grip underfoot and minimises the risk of slipping.

Available in a range of depths, colours and panel sizes.

Our Flowgrate range also includes Micromesh grating, which has reduced size square apertures and is compliant to 20mm ball proofing. The gritted top surface provides excellent grip on wet or oily surfaces making it the perfect choice for marinas, jetties, pontoons and gangways.

Both standard and micromesh products are also available in Phenolic with its excellent Fire Retardant Properties that meet BS476 Part 7 Class 0 and section 12 of London underground standards for low smoke and low toxicity use in tunnels.

Standard Flowgrate mesh is 38mm x 38mm, with Micromesh available at 19mm x 19mm.

Flowgrate is available in 25mm, 38mm or 50mm depths, with panel sizes of 1000mm x 3000mm or 1220mm x 3660mm.

Flowgrate is available in Light Grey RAL 7040, Dark Grey RAL 7043, Yellow RAL 1003 or Green RAL 6017.
