GRP FLOWGRATE

Flowgrate GRP floor grating has been designed to provide a high-strength, lightweight and durable solution for walkways, platforms, risers, trenches and mezzanine decks.

The mesh size allows for effective drainage and debris fall-prevention when installed as flooring, ensuring protection for workers and machinery.

Popular uses for GRP Flowgrate

Flowgrate is used extensively in the rail, power and marine industries. The panels can be used as a debris litter screen as well as machine guarding when applied vertically. Flowgrate GRP grating panels are up to 50% lighter than steel grating panels and are finished with a hard-wearing, anti-slip gritted surface – compliant to National and Internationally recognised standards – to ensure enhanced slip resistance. This makes Flowgrate the ideal choice for marinas, jetties, pontoons and gangways.

Our Flowgrate range also includes Micromesh grating, which has reduced size square apertures that are compliant to 20mm ball proofing.

Both our standard and Micromesh Flowgrate GRP products are also available in phenolic which has excellent fire retardant properties that meet BS476 Part 7 Class 0 and section 12 of London Underground standards for low smoke and low toxicity use in tunnels.

The isophthalic polyester grating panels are high-strength, non-conductive, lightweight and corrosion resistant. Flowgrate also contains state-of-the-art ultraviolet inhibitors to mitigate solar degradation when installed outside, further improving the lifespan of the product.
